Alqueva: Vila irrigation block New São Bento.
ALQUEVA: Near 2 800 ha will go into public consultation, with the new irrigation block of Vila Nova de São Bento.
Will take place in Vila Nova de São Bento, Serpa county, the public presentation of the hydraulic circuit and respective Irrigation Block of St. Benedict, the next day 01 June, by 11:00 hours, Multipurpose Hall in that village.
This is a new area of ​​Alqueva Irrigation, inserted in the initial project expansion plan, and that will benefit 423 farm buildings in the parishes of Vila Nova de São Bento, Vale de Vargo e Salvador, in total 2 771 hectares.
After the public presentation of this project, followed by a period of public consultation at the headquarters of Vila Nova de Parish Union of St. Benedict and Vale Vargo, in Vila Nova de São Bento, day 01 June, the 14:30to h 17:30h and no dia 02 June of 09:30to h 13:00h e the 14:30to h 17:00h, there may be provided clarifications to owners who so desire.
This new irrigation block is part of the expansion planned for the Purpose of Enterprise Multiple Alqueva which counts today with 120 hectares of land available for irrigation, increasing-to for about 170 hectares by the end of the year 2021.
