A Municipal Library José Saramago, in Beja, has a Service Reopening Plan to apply between 5 and 16 April.
From next Monday day 5 April the Library begins to practice new services, as study and consultation rooms of old newspapers and multimedia and internet sector, everything on the 1st floor.
There are services that continue and it is important to know, like borrowing books from the library from monday to friday, with prior orders with collection schedule for direct orders on site, the 09,30 to 20,00 hours. In rural parishes, from Wednesday to Friday, with previous orders with home delivery scheduling.
Regarding services for accessing digital documents, there are two types of orders that will always be sent by mail: digitized document information on local heritage and history and access to parts of documents, chapters, parts of scanned books or newspaper articles.
Telephone help is also available, for searching the online librarian's catalog and guidance for accessing the full-text documents made available there.
