Beja City Council informs that the municipal pools discovered by Beja and the river beach of the 5 Réis officially reopen the public next Saturday, day 14 June, marking the beginning of the bathing season of 2025.
Beja Municipal Pool reopens after important improvements, in order to increase the safety and comfort of users. Among the interventions made, The installation of aluminum railings between the lawn zone and the slabs highlight, in order to guide bathers to use the showers before entering the main tank. The children's tank coating was also replaced, with the application of a new screen after removal of tiles. The total investment in these works ascends 60.000 euros.
The discovery municipal pool will work daily among the 09,30 horas e as 20,00 hours, until the day 31 August. Starting from 1 of September, Closing time will be at 7 pm. Weekly rest day is on Monday.
Pool access prices remain unchanged. Admission continues to be free for children until 10 year old, provided they are accompanied by an adult. A partir the 17:30, the ticket value is halved to. Of 10 to 17 year old – 2,50 €, Of 18 to 64 year old – 3,00 € and larger 64 year old – 2,50 €.
From day 14 June, the river beach of 5 Réis will also feature surveillance assured by salvator swimmers, thus ensuring the safety conditions required for bathing.
