coronavirus: Infantry Regiment 1 suspending forming squares.
The Infantry Regiment (RI) 1, based in Beja, suspended the two Common General Training Courses Army Squares (CFGCPE), involving 64 trainees. Concerned the measures to combat Coronavirus.
The first course started in 20 January 2020 and second found the Lidador News (LN), the 30 trainees are quarantined at home, in the absence of any registration if so.
The second course, I should have started during the day, but the 34 trainees were informed of the cancellation of the merger, getting awaiting new call, after military leaders receive authorization from the Ministry of Defense for the resumption of training.
The remaining Common General Training Courses Army Squares in Continent, They are scheduled for the next days 18 May, 22 June, 21 September and 16 November, but dependent on the evolution of the pandemic of coronavirus.
Also the Day of National Defense (DDN) is being suspended the next event scheduled for the day 14 May, always dependent on the evolution of the current COVID-19 situation.
