Beja: ULSBA received new 21 medical interns.
In a statement the Board of Directors of the Local Unit of the Lower Alentejo Health, conveys that the institution received, a 2 January 2018, 21 Internists.
According to the document the nobos Internal Doctors, They are as follows: 14 Doctors in specific training, in General Surgery specialties (1), Psychiatry (1), Pediatrics (1), Internal Medicine (3), Clinical Pathology (1), Public health (1), Endocrinology (1), Orthopedics (1) and Family Medicine (4). – 7 common year Medical interns.
This group of doctors came to join the 46 Internal currently in training at the institution. The coming of Internal Physicians for ULSBA is a very important event, as it stimulates the dynamics of Clinical Services and creates the possibility of securing doctors in the region.
IT IS, equally, important to note that the Beja Hospital has, many years ago, tradition in training of doctors who want to keep quality. The welcome session was attended by the Board of Directors members, Directorate of Medical Internship and Internal Commission of ULSBA and Directors of Services.

The medical internship takes place after graduation in Medicine, It is the first year of training called average year. After the common year, doctors applying to a national contest for choosing a specialty, corresponding to specific training period whose duration varies depending on the specialty.
