Castro Verde: Camera does not increase water prices in 2020.
It was approved at the Executive meeting of Castro Verde Chamber, the decision not to increase the price of water next year.
The Municipality of Castro Verde decided not to raise prices Water, Sanitation and Solid Waste in 2020. The proposal was approved, at a meeting of the local authority, with the abstention of the elected CDU.
Despite the obvious progress in the positive direction, reducing the number of disruptions and interruptions, this decision is based on the fact, at this time, the Municipal Executive to understand that still are not satisfied effective conditions of service on the network, particularly in Castro Verde Village.
Aiming at solving the problem, the local authority aims to achieve in 2020 several concrete steps in the upgrading of the network and, thus, strengthen the quality of service provided to the population.
In this context, at the beginning of the year, the City Council will publicly present a plan of interventions underway or planned.
