The direction of the Volunteer Fire Department Mértola (BVM) announced that six elements of the corporation tested positive for covid-19 “with the 3 command elements and 3 of the Active Body in prophylactic isolation, showing mild symptoms.
The case was detected last Monday and according to the institution “the situation is not related to the transport of patients, but moved from the community”, adding that the Mértola City Council, whose president and head of Civil Protection, Mário Tomé is monitoring the situation closely, moved the mobile unit to the barracks “and all employees were tested”, justify.
