Odemira: Authority initiates discussion of participatory budgeting in the parishes.
Odemira, order to be “a county 100% ON”, City Hall, initiated the discussion process of the Participatory Budget (ON) in parishes.
Each 13 parishes of Odemira municipality will have its own Participatory Budget process (ON), aimed at strengthening the active participation of citizens, enabling the presentation of projects which will then be voted on.
Starting from 2017, Odemira becomes a county 100% ON, with the promotion of the Municipal Participatory Budgeting and creation of participatory budgeting processes in all Parishes.
The Municipality of Odemira provides financial support, the annual value of € 10,000.00 by Parish, as well as technical support for the implementation of the process and analysis of proposals (the Technical Review Committee will include a Municipal Technical).
The OP of parishes will be deliberative (It is the citizen who decides), with uniform standards, but adapted to the reality of each Parish, have an annual cycle, with the conducting participatory Assemblies.
Such as OP Municipal, the process of the OP is released in the Parishes 2017 and designs and / or winning proposals will be included in the budget of the Parish 2018.
