Odemira: GNR seized 32 endangered species turtles.
Military Territorial Detachment of the GNR Odemira seized during the day Wednesday, a farm located in that county the Alentejo coast, 32 turtles, that the farmer held illegally.
Turtles commonly known as "African Spurred Tortoise", are a protected and endangered source endangered under the Convention on International Trade Species of Fauna and Wild Flora (CIEDs).
The detection in animals ran a hard military policing action inside the farm, with its owner been identified and applied an auto contravention, and has been named "trustee" of turtles.
