Between the days 9 and 13 October, the Municipality of Odemira will continue to hold Open Weeks in the Parishes, with visit to the Parishes of Longueira/Almograve and Vila Nova de Milfontes.
The initiative seeks to promote closer and more participatory autonomous management of the territory.
Now dedicated to the north coast of the municipality, the Open Week includes the holding of the decentralized Chamber Meeting, to be held at the Almograve Youth Hostel, the decentralized service of the Municipal Executive, It is a strategy that the Municipality of Odemira will implement, associations, clubs and institutions, visits to ongoing works and investments planned in the parishes and the promotion of contact with the population and local dynamics.
As part of the Open Week in Parishes, It will be possible to schedule appointments with the Municipal Executive on the day 11 October, entre as 09.30 e as 12.00 hours, at the Parish Council of Vila Nova de Milfontes. Appointments must be requested through contacts presidencia@cm-odemira.pt or 283 320 900.
This will be the seventh visit to the territory by the current Municipal Executive, within the scope of the Open Weeks in Parishes program, a participatory democracy initiative that arises from the “Odemira 21_25” governance program and which assumes citizen participation as the basis of municipal management and the intervention of local authorities in the municipality's development process.
