We could not finish without mentioning the "Ode à GNR"Which served to publicize the GNR, as a security force comprising about 23 000 military and civilians with direct responsibility for safety assurance, peace and public tranquility in 94% the national territory and more than half the population living in Portugal, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, day and night, come rain or shine.
