Ourique: CLAS approved strategic social intervention documents.


It met in the Noble Hall of Ourique City Council, the Plenary of the Local Social Action Council (CLAS) Ourique, which aimed to analyze and approve a set of work instruments and projects that play a key role in the territory's Social Network.

In this context, the Social Diagnosis and the Social Development Plan were presented and approved, effective between 2025 – 2029, whose systematic updating is essential for effective action in the face of the reality of the territory.

These are important planning tools, to the extent that they allow an interpretative view of the social situation, from the systematization and treatment of quantitative and documentary information collected, and where the intervention priorities for the municipality are listed and substantiated, at the level of social intervention.

With the updating and approval of these instruments, the municipality of Ourique is equipped with strategic lines that allow:

Guide local social development processes, giving them a strategic rationality;

Strengthen the articulation between local policies and national policies, with gains in effectiveness and efficiency;

Continue and increase the relationship of partnerships and synergies between local actors, with a view to promoting more consequential and impactful local social intervention processes;

Provide the territory and its actors with a useful planning instrument that allows them to frame and justify new projects and applications for external funding sources.

In this context, the projects Social Radar and Local Social Development Contract 5th G appear, which will be implemented in the territory and will constitute important tools in combating social vulnerabilities.

Custom Social Radar, financed by the PRR, is based on the development of partnership and cooperation work, referencing and (re)knowledge of the problems of poverty and social exclusion, in complementarity with the social network, which will last until 31 March 2026.

O CLDS 5G, program financed under the Demography Thematic Area Program, Qualifications and Inclusion, designated by People 2030, intends to reinforce social inclusion and combat poverty policies, viewing the territory as an essential dimension for its achievement, whose action plan, includes activities within the scope of the Axis 2: Combating poverty and social exclusion of children and young people, promoter of an effective guarantee for childhood and, of the Axis 3 Promotion of autonomy, active aging and longevity.
