Ourique: Screening followed by rollover leaves four jailed.
Wolf Portela, in Ourique county, the “darkest point” do IC 1, the level of road fatalities, today returned to the scene of a screening, Following overturning, four imprisoned.
Four men were jailed following a screening followed by rollover, an area known as Wolf Portela, Santana da Serra, municipality of Ourique (Beja). Three were seriously injured.
The accident occurred at about 17.15 hours, when the light vehicle continued to IC-1, in the south-north direction. For reasons that are not yet known, the vehicle-crashed and left the track, soon after capsizing. The four victims were trapped inside the car and only the intervention of firefighters allowed to remove them from inside the vehicle.
Three of the injured were transported to the Beja Hospital, an operation where they were 23 elements of fire Ourique, Almodovar, S. Bartolomeu de Messines and Castro Verde, beyond the Traffic Detachment of GNR Ourique.
The area where the accident occurred is one of the IC-1 black spots, characterized by a winding route but br, which this year has killed seven people.
