OVIBEJA: EMAS presented book "History of Beja Water".


A EMAS de Beja apresented on the afternoon of Day 25 April, the book “The story Beja water fifteenth century to 1960”, which took place in the institutional space of the company in the Institutional Pavilion and Agri-Food of Ovibeja.

The session was attended by the author, Marta Easter, which told how the idea to write the book. “It started between 2010 and 2012, when I was a thematic visits to Beja and studied the history of water”, counted during the presentation.

The book tells the story of two phases of the supply of water to the city of Beja. “To 1910, primary and early stage, from wells, fountains and fountains. After 1940, with the construction of the deposit with the Republic Square, which has since been dismantled”.
