Revolution: April is in Odemira!
Odemira meets the tradition of celebrating freedom and democracy.
Concerts with Blaya, The Gift, Gisela John and the spectacle of José Barros & Navigator with the guests of the Ranch Cantadores New Village of St. Benedict are the party's strengths in April in Odemira for nights 24, 25 and 26.
Odemira back to fulfill the tradition of celebrating the values ​​of democracy and freedom, with a month full of activities, ranging from music, literature, plastic arts, folklore, Sing Alentejo, Fire Fireworks and sports, promoted by the municipality of Odemira, in collaboration with local entities.
The big party nights in Odemira begin on the evening of 24 April, in Largo Brito Pais, with the spectacle of Blaya. After the symbolic Raising the Flag on building of the Town Hall, with April Poem Reading, at midnight, Segue themselves or Festival fireworks display. The evening concert continues the work of The Gift.
On 25 April, by 10.30 hours, held the Solemn Session of the Odemira Municipal Assembly, no Cineteatro Camacho Costa, followed by joint graduation corporate Volunteer Fire Department Odemira and Vila Nova de Milfontes and Core Fighters League of Odemira Municipality.
A partir das 16.30 hours will be the traditional Folklore Festival, in Cerro Peguinho, with the participation of the Old Guard of Nazareth Folklore , Rancho Folklorico “peasants” of Santana do Mato (Ribatejo), Folk group of Faro and Folklore of Vila Nova de Milfontes Casa do Povo.
