Mountain knowledge and flavors will be highlighted this weekend, 25 and 26 May, Santana da Serra, in Ourique county. Entries are free!
Organized by the Parish Council and with the support of the Municipality of Câmara de Ourique, the event returns with the aim of showcasing local traditions.
The edition promises to offer visitors a unique experience, full of emotions, achievements and encounters characteristic of rurality. This is another one of the many moments of conviviality, of reunion and affirmation of the traditions of our people.
Among the highlights of the program are gastronomic demonstrations, musical shows and choral group performances, display and tasting of local products, colloquia, children's workshops mountain biking and hiking. Closing, by 20h00, the organization offers those present “some mountain tomato soups”.
Santana da Serra will once again become a meeting point for the local community and for all lovers of Alentejo culture. This event represents a unique moment of appreciation of traditions, of the region's productive capacity and identity.
