Morning 1 June, Children's Day, 18:00, the Union of Parishes of Albernoa and Trindade and the City Council of Beja, and in partnership with Francisco Janeiro, inaugurate the first museum space in the village of Trindade.
TOP – Trindade Village Toy Museum Nucleus – Francisco Janeiro collection is a place that intends to evoke the smiles and lightness of childhood from Francisco Janeiro's private toy collection, a Trinidadian, who was born and played in Trindade to later travel the world.
This Nucleus intends to be a place to visit in the village capable of transporting to the nostalgic toys of the past, from tops, wind-up toys, classic strollers and dolls and many others.
The collection, kindly provided by Francisco Janeiro, evokes different geographies, allowing this journey through the past to also be made up of encounters between different peoples and cultures. For that reason, the exhibited collection will rotate, with thematic changes three times a year, therefore benefiting from the vast collection of Francisco Janeiro.
In addition to being open to visitors from Beja, from other villages, and from more distant stops that visit the region, PIÃO will have a close relationship with schools in the Parish, frequently inviting them to visit.
Located in an area of ​​the buildings of the administrative services of the Union of Parishes of Albernoa and Trindade, the nucleus will be visitable every weekday morning.
