Beja: PSP makes nine arrests for drug trafficking.
The Police Criminal Investigation PSP Beja, He did yesterday 9 (new) arrests on suspicion of drug trafficking. Seized over 22.000 doses of hashish, 9 vehicles and more than 12.000 euros.
In a statement, the District Command of the PSP Beja, makes it known that through its Criminal Investigation Police (EIC), as part of an investigation related to the narcotics trafficking, developed over the last 9 months, unleashed, yesterday, 10 April 2018, in the city of Beja.
The police operation involved the action of its various police valences and the support of the Special Police Unit of the PSP, and became, fundamentally, in fulfilling 13 search warrants at residences, 1 search warrant commercial establishment and 11 search warrants to motor vehicles.
This operation led to the arrest of 8 (eight) men and 1 (an) woman, aged between 22 and 39 years, on suspicion of narcotic product trafficking and the seizure of:
– 22538 (twenty-two thousand five hundred thirty-eight) doses of hashish;
– 9 (new) passenger cars, 3 their, high-powered;
– 12785,00€ (twelve thousand seven hundred eighty-five EUR), in notes and coins of the European Central Bank;
– 13 (thirteen) Cell phones;
– various weapons (1 Firearm reproduction, machetes, penknives, bats, etc);
– computer equipment, and miscellaneous photographic audiovisual;
– Jewelery and varied precious metal;
– several articles, commonly used in the practice of Product trafficking in narcotic crime.
Detainees, await presence in the Judicial Court of Beja, for subjecting the first interrogation and possible application of enforcement measures.
