Veiga Wheat, former international referee, affiliate of the Beja Arbitration Council, died this Tuesday, to 73 year old.
UPDATE: The body goes to the Beja Mortuary Houses, next to the cemetery, to 09,00 hours and the funeral will be at 15,30 hours.
Natural Beja, José Alberto Veiga Trigo, was admitted to the José Joaquim Fernandes Hospital, from last day 16 of September, when he suffered a stroke (stroke).
Veiga Trigo rose to 1st Category at the end of the season 1979, having risen to the category of International, position where he ended his career (in the photo one of the teams led by Veiga Trigo: on the left Teixeira Correia and on the right Manuel Burrica).
Cycling lover, He was one of the drivers of the Volta ao Alentejo vehicles and a reporter for Rádio Horizonte Algarve/ Tavira, for several years in the Volta a Portugal and the Volta ao Algarve.
