One person died and two were seriously injured, in a collision with an agricultural machine, on a rural property in the municipality of Beja, Thursday morning, cerca the 10.30 hours.
The accident, which also caused three minor injuries, happened this Thursday morning, in the Corte Piorno Estate, in the Union of Parishes of Quintos and Salvada, in Beja.
The victims are agricultural workers of Nepalese origin, aged 21 and 26 year old, who were picking olives with electric vibrators when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the agricultural machine and ran over the six men.
The injured were transported to Beja Hospital. For relief operations, the Beja and Serpa Firefighters were present, with 15 operational and seven vehicles. Beja's medical vehicle was also present.
The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) was also called to the scene.
