activities in nature, gastronomy, culture, sport and entertainment are the strengths of FEITUR – SW Tourism Fair, scheduled for days 17, 18 and 19 June.
The event takes place next to the River Mira Estuary, in Vila Nova de Milfontes. It will be three intense days., with free entries, a partir the 14.00 Friday hours and from 11.00 Saturday and Sunday.
FEITUR is committed to promoting Odemira and the Southwest Alentejo as a privileged destination for active and nature tourism and is promoted in partnership between the Municipality of Odemira and the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo.
Over the three days, visitors can live the “Experiences of Mira”, a set of free baptism and/or contact challenges with different modalities, or to pay for those who want to enjoy the activities with greater availability. The program includes surf lessons, stand up paddle, canoeing, donkey and pony rides, boat trips on the river Mira, kayak lodge, diving, walks at low tide, jiu-jitsu volleyball and beach handball, inflatables, bungee and trampolines.
The event has the presence of accommodation units and tourist entertainment companies, restaurants, exhibition of agri-food products, local crafts, gastronomic tastings and lots of entertainment.
The gastronomic component will be highlighted in the Showcooking Space, with the showcookings “Do Prado ao Prato” by Sofia Magalhães, “The Boss is Me” by the Tic-Tac Association, and the Adega restaurants 22, Craveiral Farm House, King's Gardener, Porto das Barcas and Tasca do Celso, tasting of Campo Redondo cheese with honey from Apicortes, of Alma da Nossa Gente products and artisanal ice creams by MABI, as well as wine tastings and medronho cocktails by Arbutus.
in musical animation, note for the participation of Grupo Corais and Grupo Coral do Coreto in the fairgrounds. Palco Sabores receives the performance of the Malino Guitars Duo, Crossed Lines and Dj Red Deep (Friday), Traditional Music with Luís Simenta, Luiz Caracol and DJ LightHouse (Saturday), Catarina Correia and Jazz with Michael Lauren Trio (Sunday).
