In celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Domestic Violence against Women, 25 November, a female self-defense workshop takes place in Vidigueira.
The workshop is organized by the Marcial Way club and will take place at the Municipal Pavilion of “Vila dos Gamas”, at a cost of 5 euros, the organizers maintain that “female self-defense is a set of techniques and strategies developed to enable women to protect themselves in situations of threat or aggression”.
This practice encompasses not only physical skills, but also strengthening self-confidence, situational awareness and the ability to make assertive decisions in times of danger, aiming to promote the safety and autonomy of women in different contexts.
The workshop is organized by the Marcial Way club, with international Krav Maga Kapap instructor TML line, 3° Dan of Goju-Ryu Karate, 1° Dan de Karate Shito-Ryu, 2° Dan de ju-jitsu, 1°Then the Iaido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt, Air Force Adjutant Sergeant João Diniz.
