Vila Nova de Milfontes: FEITUR sports-tourism and nature highlighted.
In the days 7, 8 and 9 June, Vila Nova de Milfontes receives FEITUR - Sports Tourism and Nature, an event that aims to promote and Odemira and the Alentejo as favored destinations for active Tourism.
The event is organized in partnership between the City of Odemira and the Regional Entity of Tourism of Alentejo and Ribatejo and takes place at the mouth of the river Mira, in the franchise Beach, with free entries.
The FEITUR bet on better promotion of the most iconic tourism products of the Odemira municipality and territory, by highlighting the activities in nature.
Over the three days, FEITUR the visitors can live close to the land and participate in activities such as boating, stand up paddle and canoeing on the river Mira, surf classrooms, participate in hiking and mountain biking or horseback riding. In the enclosure of the event, the program offers rides in a carriage, donkey and pony, sports activities such as volleyball, futvolei, Jiu Jitsu e zumba, as well as a children's play area with inflatables and trampolines.
The event features performances of accommodation units and tourist entertainment companies, exhibition of food products and local craft shows. Within gastronomic, local products deserve highlight, both evidence and showcookings, as in this restoration.
