39ª Ovibeja: Secretariat receives registrations for the edition of 2023.

The Secretariat of the 39th Ovibeja is already accepting registrations from exhibitors who are interested in promoting and publicizing their products and services at the largest agricultural fair in the south of the country.

A 39ª Ovibeja, the course of 27 from April to 1 May, counts annually with more than 150 thousand visitors and more than a thousand exhibitors spread over more than 10 infrastructured and wooded hectares, with themed pavilions, at the Manuel de Castro e Brito Fairs and Exhibitions Park.

Its diversified offer includes the Pavilhão Terra Fértil, the olive oil arena, the Agro-Food Space, Institutional Pavilion, Livestock Pavilion, Central Pavilion, of Commerce and Services, Multipurpose Pavilion, Sing Pavilion, of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

With several meat restaurants from native breeds, Ovibeja also has food and drink taverns in various areas of the fair and in the Pavilhão do Cante area, where at a friends table, among many other snacks, a plate of grains, some fevers, a little cheese, some sausages and a glass of wine set the tone for fraternization and Alentejo singing.

Ovibeja is also part of the 12th International Competition for Extra Virgin Olive Oil – CA Ovibeja Prize that remains, since several years ago, in the first place of 10 most important competitions in the world.

Over 350 animals on display at the Livestock Pavilion, Ovibeja also has several equestrian competitions and championships, tests and demonstrations with dogs, sheep competitions, cattle and pigs.

Reflection and debate on issues on the agenda are also a hallmark of Ovibeja, with colloquia, seminars and workshops promoted by the organization and by several other entities participating in the event. This year, Ovibeja's challenge is to put on the table the theme of communication from and with the agricultural sector.

Talking is how we understand each other, and this is what Ovibeja has been doing throughout its 39 years at the service of agriculture and the region. Organized by ACOS – Association of Southern Farmers.
