They are 332, competing villages to 7 Villages Wonders of Portugal, in seven categories. District of Beja's 9 interests, entre as 30 do Alentejo.
Baleizão (Beja), São Martinho das Amoreiras, Santa Clara-a-Velha, Vale de Santiago and Zambujeira do Mar (Odemira), Transportation, Santo Aleixo da Restoration, Santo Amador (Moura) and Vila de Frades (Vidigueira), are competing to villages 7 Wonders of Portugal.
The seven winners, in the categories Monument, Sea, riparian, rural, Shooting, Authentic and Protected Areas will be announced 3 September and villages will become part of a new tourist route to promote Portugal.
Applications for municipalities: Alcacer do Sal (santa Susana), Beja (Baleizão), Fight (Village Orada), Campo Maior (Ouguela), Crato (Flower Rose), Estremoz (Evoramonte), Hawk (Belver), Grândola (channel Skull, Lousal, Melides, Santa Margarida da Serra), Montemor-o-Novo (Cortiçadas of Lavre, Saint Cristopher, St. Gerard, Vila de Lavre), Mora (delicioso, Pavia), Moura (Transportation, Santo Aleixo da Restoration, Santo Amador), Mourao (Light Village, Farm), Odemira (São Martinho das Amoreiras, Santa Clara-a-Velha, Vale de Santiago, Zambujeira do Mar), Portalegre (Alegrete), Reguengos de Monsaraz (Monsaraz), Sines (Porto Covo), Viana do Alentejo (Aguiar) and Vidigueira (Vila de Frades).
A 7 April will be known the 49 Pre-finalists of the contest villages 7 wonders of Portugal, It is between 9 July and 20 August will be chosen the 14 finalists. The vote in each of the categories of 7 Wonders of Portugal – Villages runs from the day 20 August and the Grand Final Gala, which will be carried out 3 September 2017.
