The GNR and the Media

The performance of the functions of "Public Relations"[1] are of special importance, in any institution, having as its objective the relationship with the external and internal public, and do a good job, then it is because the objectives have been achieved and the institutional image was well transmitted, but failing that, the image of the institution is called into question, especially by enhancing public Public Opinion, since working with view is for professional public relations one of the reasons for his presence in the social process of organizations.
GNR in any military, in whatever function is, has always intended to contribute to improving the image of GNR, in order to increase the sense of security of the population it serves, constituting why each of the men and women of GNR as a "Public Relations".
It is the General Regulations of the Office of the National Republican Guard (RGSGNR), which regulates the "Communication and Public Relations", and it is predicted the existence of the position of Communications Officer and Public Relations (OCRP), it must be named, whenever possible, given the characteristics and profile deemed suitable for the performance of their function, namely the curricular level (adequate training) it's personal (recognized communication skills and image). Even should the OCRP have perfect knowledge of the GNR and correct notion of its activity and its positive and negative aspects.
So, and fulfilling the criteria mentioned above, the GNR there must be someone to give effect to the communication strategy defined superiorly, in order to get that sense of security, perceived by the population, is the closest that there really is, so it is important the OCRP a GNR unit maintain contacts with the Media (OCS), with the aim of contributing to improved corporate image and ensure proper management of communication, leveraging the favorable news and limiting the negative consequences.
Soon all contacts with the SCO should always be done with this perspective, to contribute to the image of the GNR and to carry out a proper management of communication, knowing the right by journalists to inform the public, GNR and to contribute to that information is exempt, correct and true.
Too often conflicts of interest occur, between the GNR and professionals of the CST, porque not uns not Outros, They understand the functions of the other, forgetting all they have to inform the populations they serve.
Hence the importance of the work of OCRP, that mainly contribute to all professionals OCS realize that we are not on opposite sides of the fence, but the performance of different functions, both with their specificities, We have the same goal, which is to inform the people with truth and honesty, existing on both sides limits that can not be exceeded, are legal, deontológicos ou outros.
