O caso passou a ser investigado pela Polícia Judiciária, que em momentos anteriores, contou com a colaboração da Força Aérea Portuguesa, da National Republican Guard, da Guardia Civil Espanhola e da Gendarmerie Royale do Reino de Marrocos, e que ontem anunciou que foram apreendidos uma aeronave; resina de cannabis (hashish) suficiente para a composição de pelo menos um milhão de doses individuais; uma viatura onde era transportado o estupefaciente apreendido; diverso material de comunicações e navegação; uma arma de fogo e diversa documentação.
Um outro suspeito encontra-se já a cumprir pena de prisão em Espanha, por factos cometidos naquele território. Os três detidos, aged between 63 and 70 year old, serão presentes a primeiro interrogatório judicial para aplicação de medidas de coação.
