Adega Mayor: Nabeiro Group Launches Experience Harvest Mayor.

This is a wine tourism offering that aims to give the opportunity to all visitors to know the secrets of picking of the grapes and their vinification, as well as visit the author cellar and hold a workshop vinous, in full plain land, in Campo Maior.

Throughout the month of September, Monday to Saturday, Adega Mayor invites you to enjoy a special program of harvest and get to know the most delicate process in wine production.

The Experience Harvest Mayor program starts with a tour of the vineyard, with the explanation of the whole production process of wine and experience the picking of the grapes, followed by the projection of a film in the auditorium of Adega Mayor about the history of this winery designed by architect Siza Vieira and the production of top quality wines of Alentejo reference.

It follows a visit to the wine-making areas and the barrels room, where you can get a taste of wine and get to know some of the production secrets of the Adega Mayor wine.

The visit continues with a stop at the Water Mirror, where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Alentejo plain, culminating in a wine recognition workshop, which will consider various topics of initiation proof Wines.

At the end of the visit, is performed a blind test six wines and tasting Mayor Selection Oils, where you can sample some regional delicacies and understand how best to combine each of the wines in the competition.
