Aljustrel: Truck driver falls into hole in EN 2 and suffered polytrauma.
The driver of a heavy goods suffered serious injuries, having been transported to the hospital Beja, com politraumatismos, following the fall in a hole, the National Road 2, five kilometers of Aljustrel.
The accident occurred at about 19,00 hours Friday, when the vehicle got stuck with a wheel in the hole that he opened. When checking the situation, the driver fell into the hole that had a crater about four meters deep.

It is recalled that the subsidence occurred in a place of EN2, known as the dam of Mount Street and traffic is closed off Aljustrel, in the north / south direction, e a 9 kilometers in Carregueiro, towards south / north.

IP initiates the crossing replacement work in EN2, in Aljustrel
The Infrastructure Portugal starts today (Friday) the replacement Pass Hydraulic located at kilometer 621,7 the EN2, in Aljustrel.
This intervention is necessary to implement a traffic conditioning, with alternating movement coordinated by traffic lights and limiting the maximum speed to 30 km / h, in the work area.
This work aims to complete replacement of the crossing that partially collapsed at the beginning of Tuesday night (*), to ensure the restoration of normal security conditions and road movement of EN2 users.
