An open box van, belonging to the Parish Council of São Barnabé, municipality of Almodovar, was stolen in the early hours of this Tuesday.
There was a second theft of another vehicle with the same characteristics, belonging to a private person.
After filing a complaint with the GNR, the municipality of São Barnabé issued an alert on social media to try to locate the vehicle with registration number 41-15-LL, which was parked on the public road, in the parking lot allocated to the Parish Council.
The other stolen vehicle was also parked on the public road., on the main street of the village.
Military core of Criminal Investigation (NIC) de Almodôvar are taking steps to locate the two vehicles and identify and arrest the perpetrators of the thefts.
