The budget was approved by a majority, with 17 votes in favor, of the Socialist Party and bench 4 abstentions of the Social Democratic Party bench.
The budget for 2018 It has a value of income and expense 12 million and 648 thousand euros and includes the works planned in the Major Planning Options to have started in 2018, namely the Urban Rehabilitation in Santa Clara-a-Nova, Municipal road link between Pico Mu and St. Barnabas and also ensures the continuity of the five ongoing works in the county Almodovar.
This budget also includes a very strong social component, as indeed, It has been the hallmark of this Municipal Executive, always putting the people first. The document also includes the salaries of municipal employees increases, already enacted by the Government of the Republic, and the entry into service of the local authority about 60 new jobs in the course of 2018, possibly extended to 2019.
