Alqueva: Edia presents new irrigation block Vidigueira.
The Enterprise Development and Infrastructures of Alqueva (EDIA) It has today publicly the future irrigation block Vidigueira.
The public presentation of the future of Vidigueira irrigation block will take place by 11:00 hours, the Auditorium of the Adega Cooperativa da Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito, Industrial District in VidÃgueira.
This is a new area of ​​Alqueva Irrigation, inserted in the initial project expansion plan, and it will benefit about 1400 farm buildings in the parishes of Alva, Vila Ruiva, Cuba, Vila de Frades, Vidigueira and a total of Selmes 1 900 hectares.

This new irrigation block is part of the expansion planned for the Purpose of Enterprise Multiple Alqueva which counts today with 120 hectares of land available for irrigation, increasing-to for about 170 hectares by the end of the year 2021.
