The Moura City Council received a visit from elected officials and technicians from the municipalities of Alter do Chão, Notice, Nice and Sousel, with the aim of learning about the process of implementing the PAYT system with door-to-door waste collection in Moura.
The visit took place during the morning and included speeches by the Executive Director of Resialentejo, José Pinto Rodrigues, by the Technical Director of Resialentejo, Pedro Sobral, by the Mayor of Moura, Ãlvaro Azedo, as well as technicians from the Municipal Environment area.
After the presentation of the PAYT system, there was also a visit to the Ecocentro de Moura. Remember that the PAYT system arrived in Moura in 2020, having in the first phase been implemented in the Historic Center, followed by the Neighborhood of Sete-e-Meio and the Neighborhood of Salúquia.
From the next day 4 November, the system will cover approximately more 400 housing in the center of Moura.
