Among the coming days 29 April and 1 May, place in Amoreiras-Gare, in the neighborhood S. Martin Amoreiras, Events of May and 14th Fair interior Odemira.
This event mobilizes thousands of visitors and program are part of cultural promotion activities, with great emphasis on the Alentejo sing.
The organization belongs to the Association for the Development of Amoreiras-Gare, with the support of the Municipality of Odemira and S Parish Council. Martin Amoreiras.
The official opening of the May Festivities will take place on 29 April, Friday, by 11.00 hours. Highlighting the Handicrafts Exhibition and Regional Products, running from 29 April and 1 May, entre as 11.00 e as 20.00 hours, with dozens of artisans working live, in the various arts and crafts.
On Saturday afternoon, a partir the 15.00 hours, held the presentation Enhancement Project Viola Campaniça and Impromptu Sing. Sing The afternoon will feature the participation of Female Voices groups of Amoreiras-Gare, Musical group Relics Once, Put the tie and Meats, Group Coral White Field Voices (Cascais) Young men and d'A Cana - Violas Group Campaniças Castro Verde. There will also be two workshops dedicated to and fro its derivatives (by ARBUTUS, 16:00) and the oil (by Vale do Lagar peel, 17.00).
On the morning of 30 April, by 10.00 hours, Amoreiras-Gare receives 2nd Walk of May Festivities. By 15.00 hours will start the 2nd Sing Afternoon, with the participation of Musical Group Amoreirense, Cavaquinhos group Mira, accordion and concertina by António Ledo and other artists, Odemira Guitar Trio and Group Coral The Miners Aljustrel.
There will also be three workshops dedicated to honey (by Honey Plant Cheta, 16:00), the goat cheese (by Queijaria of Chada,16h30) and regional sausages (by Salsicharia Abelhinha, 17h00).
On the last day of May Festivities, day 1 May, a partir the 14.30 hours, it will be time to praise Sing to jolt with the 12th Song Festival to Challenge / Improvisation which this year has the participation of Alentejo and Minho singers. By 18.00 hours, the performance of Concertinas group "Friends of the Gland" (Braga) and the Traditional Bullfight Alentejo mark the closing of this event.
