School year: Câmara de Moura supports 298 5th and 6th grade students.


The Mourense Municipality will make an investment greater than 25.000 euros 2nd cycle school cards and financial aid for the 1st cycle.

To support all levels of education, two Future Classrooms were created (Moura and Amareleja), with specific spaces in terms of technologies associated with differentiated educational practices, the Municipality of Moura will do with an investment of 50.000,00 euros, to which they join more 35.605,70 euros in the sharing of transport passes.

The Municipality gives card books and/or school supplies to students in the municipality? Sim, the Municipality of Moura gives free school cards for all subjects to students in the 2nd cycle of basic education in the municipality. It also provides support within the scope of Economic Aid to students in the 1st cycle of basic education.

If yes, what is specifically provided per year of schooling and to how many students? in this school year, we will support 298 (140 5th grade students and 158 6th grade students). For 1st cycle students, within the scope of Economic Aid, gives €25.00 to Grade B students and €30.00 to Grade A students (204 Grade A students and 70 of Grade B, in total 274 students).

What is the value of investing in card books and/or school supplies? The value of the investment in this school year of the 2nd cycle school cards is €17,484.90. The investment in terms of Economic Aid for the 1st cycle is €7,870.00.

The Municipality guarantees a free pass? In addition to this direct support and the existing and assumed competencies (school meals, school transport, time extensions, AEC´s e AAAF´s), the Municipality of Moura also guarantees the following support to students: exemption from payment of meals for JI and 1st cycle students with Grade B (154 students); award of scholarships (1 secondary art education, 4 professional higher education and 8 University education); school transport for children 5 years for preschool attendance (8 students, no annual value of €20,000.00); schoolbooks for 1st year elementary school students (155 students, not value of €232.50); school pass fee waiver (46 students); hippotherapy (22 students, no annual value of €3520.00); hydrotherapy (22 students) and didactic material and IT consumables for JI and 1st cycle classes (11.870,00€).
