The National Road Safety Authority (Mor), a National Republican Guard (GNR) and the Public Security Police (PSP) LAUNCH TODAY, in Ourique, the road safety campaign 2 Arise: Cling to life, inserted in the National Inspection Plan (PNF) of 2025. Tomorrow from 09,00 Hours will be on Avenida do Brasil, in Beja.
Running between 8 and 14 July, The campaign aims to alert drivers, namely two motor wheels, for safe driving, complying with the rules of the road code and avoiding risk behaviors, such as: driving under the influence of alcohol, Speed excess and incorrect use of security devices.
The campaign integrates: • ANSR awareness actions in continental territory and the services of the Azores and Madeira Regional Administrations; • Surveillance operations by GNR and PSP, with special incidence on roads and access with high road flow, in order to contribute to the decrease in claim and the adoption of safest behaviors, by drivers.
ANSR awareness actions occur, simultaneous, those with inspection operations of security forces on the following dates, times and locations:
08/07 | 15h00: IC1-Km 175 - Palheiros Village, Ourique (37.604860, -8.249445) – ANSR of its GNR;
09/07 | 09h00: Avenida do Brasil, Beja (38.00984, -7.86083) - AnsR E PSP;
This is the seventh of 11 Planned campaigns for this year, under the PNF of 2025. Until the end of the year, Four more campaigns will be held, one per month, with awareness and inspection actions.
Campaigns inserted in national inspection plans are carried out annually, Pela Ansr, a GNR e a PSP, from 2020, with themes defined based on the European recommendations established for each of the years.
Like 2024, in the PNF of 2025 The themes of awareness and inspection campaigns are: speed, alcohol, Security accessories, mobile phone and two -wheel vehicles.
Road accident does not configure a fatality and its most serious consequences can be avoided, through the adoption of safe behaviors on the road.
