The Portuguese Air Force rescued a woman who had fallen in an area of ​​difficult access in Rio de Frades, Arouca.
The victim was rescued with the help of firefighters and transported in a helicopter Alouette III, the Fleet 552 – “drones”, based at Air Base 11, in Beja.
It's a successful rescue, of one of the oldest stations of BA 11. It is recalled that the “elderly” Alouette III helicopters, light aircraft adopted in 1963 the Portuguese Air Force, They were also part of Acrobatic Patrol “Rotors of Portugal”, extinct a few years ago.
