The National Craftsmanship Award (PNA) to be carried out bi-annually, consists of valuing paths and performances of excellence in the arts and crafts, through institutional recognition and the granting of a financial incentive for the development of the activity.
The PNA aims to encourage artisanal production, in its traditional and contemporary aspects, distinguishing artisans by valuing their technical and professional skills, as well as its aesthetic capacity. Includes, yet, the recognition of relevant interventions by public and private entities in the promotion of artisanal activities, as well as encouraging the development of research work in the field of arts and crafts.
The Prize includes 6 categorias: Grand Prix Career, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award, Young Talents Award, Research Award, Promotion Award for Private Entities and Promotion Award for Public Entities, Grand Prix Career, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award, Young Talents Award, Research Award, Promotion Award for Private Entities and Promotion Award for Public Entities.
There is a maximum of 5 nominations for each Award category. Candidates elected by the jury will receive a diploma and the following monetary prizes: a) Grand Prix Career: €4.000; b) Innovation Award: €3.500; c) New Talents Entrepreneurship Award: €3.500; d) Research Award: €2.000; and) Promotion Award for Private Entities: €2.000; f) Promotion Award for Public Entities: prize without monetary value. The finalists nominated in the categories) to e), that are not awarded by the jury, will receive a diploma and a monetary value of €250.
