ASPIG / GNR: Association in a statement welcomed the entry into government functions led by PS.
The Socio-Professional Association of Independent Guard (ASPIG), welcomes the entry into the twenty-first Constitutional Government functions, headed by Prime Minister Dr.º António Costa.
In a statement to ASPIG, reveals that he hopes the new government continue “the reform program that was in progress”, with a view to lasting stability, what “promote economic and social development of the country and allow finding solutions, I do quadro within existing constitutional, to the legitimate demands of the military of the National Republican Guard” (GNR), a saber:
Regulation of weekly reference time, since 2009 waiting to be regulated by joint order of the Cabinet members responsible for finance and internal administration;
Publication of the new Organic Law of the GNR that, currently, to "discuss" the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
Publication of the new Statute for military GNR, that previous governments - despite promises as to its publication - left in the "drawer";
Regulation of the publication on the allocation of the houses of the GNR social services, despite the excellent work of the management board and advisory board of those services, need, in the opinion of ASPIG, be adjusted, unequivocally, the real needs of the military;
Serious thought, taking appropriate prompt measures, in combating the scourge of suicides in GNR and strengthening the skills and means of Psychology Centre for Social Intervention that the GNR, despite its importance and commitment, observed since its inception, to combat that scourge, not yet achieved the desired results;
That the guarantee, que data de 2005, the former Minister of Home Affairs, now Prime Minister, Dr. António Costa, – safeguard a proportionate transitional arrangements to the legitimate expectations of those, decades, serve a GNR - Be, 10 years later, finally honored;
