Marisa saturnino, councilor of the Beja City Council announced today her departure from the Executive of the Beja municipality. The last municipal act will be tomorrow with the inauguration of the Christmas illuminations.

The fact of the husband, PSP agent, having moved at the beginning of the semester from the Beja District Command to Faro, led him to respond to a competition for a management position at the Municipal Council of Vila de Real Santo António.
Next Monday, Marisa saturnino, of 45 year old, assumes the position of Head of Social Action Division of the Municipality of the city of Pombalina, municipality where he is from, since he was born in Monte Gordo.
For seven years, the mayor was part of the Executive of the Socialist Party in the Chamber of Beja, led by Paulo Arsênio, about those who said they “feel grateful for the opportunity to work for the citizens of Bejense, and for personal and professional trust”, justified.
For Marisa Saturnino it is “a difficult decision, but thoughtful. It was taken and communicated in due time”, ensuring that he leaves with a “clear conscience, leaves friends among councilors and municipal workers”, ends.
Maria João Ganhão (in the photo below with the outgoing councilor), number four on the list of the Socialist Party that ran for the Chamber of Beja in the Municipal Elections of 2021, will take over from Marisa Saturnino.
