The council of the Socialist Party of Mértola publicly presented the candidacy led by him to the City Council, in these municipal elections, electing councilor Mário Tomé, as the face to replace Jorge Rosa.
With 43 year old, graduated in Social Work and with a postgraduate degree in Human Resources, the current vice-president of the Municipality of Mértola takes on the challenge, together with a motivated team, competent and knowledgeable of the territory, to develop, further, the municipality of Mértola.
The council is convinced that Mário Tomé is the best candidate to continue the project initiated by socialist executives since 2001: recover the civilizational backwardness where Mértola was and raise the municipality to the level of excellence where it deserves to be.
Over the past few years, the training of the municipality in all key areas for the community is notorious, from equipping basic infrastructures, to investing in projects such as Estação Biológica or Lar das das 5 Parishes that will lead to a prosperous and sustainable future for our municipality.
PS Mértola bets on Mário Tomé as he is the right person to continue this work, contributing with its progressive vision and close to all and all.
