Sara ramos, is the head-of-list of the coalition formed by the PCP and the Ecologist Party “Os Verdes”. She is an opposition councilor in that municipality on the Alentejo coast, elected by the CDU, in 2017.
She is the technical director of Lar de São Teotónio, has 35 years and is from that village in the municipality of Odemira, and licensed in Physiotherapy. Opposition councilor in that municipality on the Alentejo coast, Sara Ramos was elected by the CDU, in 2017, having also been a communist candidate in the legislatives of 2015 and 2019 and integrates the Odemira Municipal Committee of PCP.
This is the fourth candidacy officially announced to the Chamber of Odemira, after having already been revealed the candidates Arménio Simão, by PSD/CDS-PP, Pedro Gonçalves, the Left Bloc, and Hélder Guerreiro, PS hair.
The current municipal executive, led by socialist José Alberto Guerreiro, who is serving the third term and can no longer re-apply, is composed of five elected from the PS and two from the CDU. In 2017 the PS candidate succeeded 55,69% of the vote, against 23,26% by Sara Ramos, candidate by CDU e 8,92% of Luis Freitas of the PPD / PSD. The CDU has been removed from the presidency of the Chamber of Odemira since 1997, when António Camilo (PS) won the elections.
Since the first free elections of Local Government, Odemira has already had four mayors: Justino Abreu Santos (17 year old) 1976-1993, Cláudio Percheiro (4) 1993-1997, António Camilo (12) 1997-2009 and Jose Alberto Guerrero (12) 2009-2021.
