Fernando Manuel Ruas, Born in Vila Alentejana de Messejana, county Aljustrel, is the CDU candidate for the municipality of Aljustrel, Four years after being defeated by Carlos Teles.
He is a militant of the Portuguese Communist Party and a member of the PCP Aljustrel Council. Degree in Physical Education and Sports from the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies (2000). He is a teacher at Aljustrel School Group, place where he held the position of director between 2013 a 2021.
Holds the position of sub -director of the Aljustrel School Group. He has the role of vice-provider of the Holy House of Mercy of Aljustrel and the chairman of the General Assembly of the Mercy of Our Lady of Assumption of Messejana. Was elected at the Parish Assembly of Messejana de 2005 a 2009. Member of the Municipal Assembly of Aljustrel de 2009 a 2013. He is currently councilor at Aljustrel City Council.
