Hi Fly announced that it is carrying out a series of base flights to train a group of new pilots.
On Friday, four new pilots carried out their base flight at the Beja Civil Terminal under the command of Carlos Mirpuri and Ruben Morais.
New pilots had to complete 6 landings and take-offs using the Airbus A330-200 9H-TQP.
The company indicates that this Saturday a new group of pilots will perform their base flight.
Out of curiosity, Basic training generally consists of a minimum of six takeoffs and landings and is the first experience of flying a commercial aircraft. A circuit pattern is performed to enable the pilot to complete the required number of take-offs and landings to a safe and satisfactory standard.
