Aviation: Logistics scraps proposal to divert air cargo from Lisbon to Beja.

Logistics against cargo at Beja airport, no structures to receive it. Companies and the State's own inspection would have to duplicate resources to 135 km from Lisbon airport.

The question arose on Tuesday, when the Independent Technical Commission (CTI) created to study the location of the New Lisbon Airport presented its latest report.

Among the measures to increase, even if temporarily, the capacity of Humberto Delgado Airport, CTI proposed to the Government the transfer of charter and cargo flights to Beja airport.
