Olive oil: Olivum promotes seminar at Agroglobal 2021.


‘The Row of National Olive Oil: Sustainability and New Opportunities’ intends to generate debate around the Portuguese olive grove and its potentialities.

The seminar “The Row of National Olive Oil” takes place today: Sustainability and New Opportunities’, in the auditorium Companhia das Lezírias, in Valada do Ribatejo.

This seminar is part of the cycle of conferences at the largest national agricultural fair, and Agroglobal, and is co-organized by Olivum, Association of Olive Growers and Presses of the South, in partnership with the Consulai consultant and with Agroglobal.

The seminar will consist of two panels, the first on ‘Sustainability and Investment’, with moderation by Pedro Santos, of the consulate, and the participation of Pedro Lopes, president of Olivum, Isabel Ribeiro (Nutrifarms), Jose Duarte (Cooperative Moura Barrancos), José Pedro Salema (EDIA), Luís Cortes Martins (SLCM) and Pedro Bellows (Agromillora)

the second panel, dedicated to ‘Consumption and Communication’, will be moderated by Gonçalo Almeida Simões, executive director of Olivum, and will feature Iara Rodrigues (nutritionist and director of the Iara Martins Clinic), Joana Petiz (journalist and director of Dinheiro Vivo), Rodrigo Castelo (chef and owner of Ó Balcão restaurant) and Vasco Sousa Uva (sportsman and former rugby captain) as speakers.
