Tomorrow, 9 January, nine Air Force soldiers receive Pilot-Aviator wings, which marks the transition between the training period and the beginning of operational activity.
According to a statement published on the Portuguese Air Force's online page (FAP) “the moment of extreme significance for the career of the military in that specialty will be marked by a ceremony full of symbolism” which will be presided over by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who will be accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General João Cartaxo Alves”
The ceremony is scheduled for 12,00 hours at Air Base No. 11.
