Beja: 7 Years of The Portuguese Music to Enjoy Her Own the UNESCO Center.
This Friday, celebrated the UNESCO Center for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Beja, the 7th Anniversary of the Portuguese Music Like Her Own.
This is a project that truly put a country, or much of it, to love yourself today with a major national and international recognition.
As part of this celebration, an installation project will be presented of an Interpretative Center in this space to inaugurate the UNESCO Center in Beja in April.
There 7 years ago Portugal born via a project that truly put a country, or much of it, to like yourself. Not fought football but musical chords, voices that reached to heaven and simple stories of those who through music found a place in the world.
Tiago Pereira and his team have filmed since then all over the side showing the country and the world little known musical sounds, within a its own aesthetic that seeks to record the actual personal, without artifice or makeovers, looking at the faces of those who sing and landscapes as small worlds in continuous transformation.
IT IS, that is why, very pleased to celebrate the day 19 January, the UNESCO Center for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Beja, 7th Anniversary of MPGDP and present a project to install an Interpretation Center project in this space to open in April.
the Center, beyond a physical space where you can see an audio-visual library MPGDP, also consider the regular conferences and meetings around the Portuguese music of popular root.
The meeting will take place at 21:30 and beyond the project will have a presentation yet Tiago Pereira conference where it will take stock of 7 MPGDP years of recordings and will culminate in a concert with Paul Colaco, Golden Ears of Albernoa and popular music group Beira Serra.
