The Beja Air Show 2025 (BAS25) will be held on the days 27 and 28 of September, Air Base No. 11 (BA11), during the NATO Tiger Meet 2025 (NTM25).
This BAS25 will take place during the 61st NATO Tiger Meet, which takes effect between 21 September and 3 October 2025 at Air Base No. 11, in Beja, organized by Squadron 301-Jaguares, parked in BA5, Monte Real.
Remember that the Beja Air Show 2024 ended abruptly, when in the afternoon 2 June, when two planes from a patrol of six collided in the air and crashed. One of the pilots died.
The accident occurred at 16.07 hours, that day, in the south area of ​​the Air Base (BA11), involving the Spanish-Portuguese aerobatic display team Yakstars. The aircraft crash resulted in a fire, fought by firefighters.
At the Beja Air Show 2024, for the first time, Portugal had the exhibition of a 5th generation fighter, the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II of the United States Air Force.
Last day 22 of September, Lidador News revealed that the 61st NATO Tiger Meet, would take place 21 September and 3 October 2025, being one of the most important and prestigious exercises carried out in Europe, representing a unique opportunity for participants to test techniques, tactics and procedures in contested scenarios, requiring solutions across multiple domains. The Portuguese Air Force hosts this exercise for the fifth time.
In Portugal, the first NTM took place in 1986, na BA6, no Montijo, the second in 1996, the third in 2002 and the fourth in 2021, these three taking place in BA11, in Beja.
