Beja: Students of the Polytechnic Institute in Erasmus mission in Poland.


Miguel Ramos and Rui Guiomar, Tourism Course students, Superior School of Technology and Management (evening) the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, They decided in March last year 2015, apply for a semester of study Erasmus, in Poland.

IPBeja_800x800Hungary was the preferred destination, but since there were not enough vacancies, They chose to fly, on 27 of September, to Poland, more precisely to Tarnow, a town and 1h 30m away from Krakow and about 115 thousand. The unique beauty of this city turned out to conquer the two students.

The group followed with both, during the 4 months, It was mostly composed of students of Spanish origin and Turkish.

Given that were relatively close to Krakow, the two students had the opportunity to know in detail this city, as well as countries around the Poland. The sub-zero temperatures did not prevent the students to know Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, and Budapest, Hungary's capital.

Recommend yet who meet in Poland, a visit to the Salt Mines, the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, and still Zakopane, a small village nestled in the mountains, offering stunning views and the opportunity to practice sports in the snow.

When asked about the final balance of this journey, Miguel and Rui, They come to the conclusion that it was a unique opportunity. Something they will never forget. A fleeting experience that leaves nostalgia and the desire to repeat.
